OZ to Live after killing zoo keeper

Screenshot 2015-09-24 at 2.15.10 PM.pngI would not want to be eaten by a tiger that would hurt. In a statement provided by Hamilton Zoo it has been reaffirmed that ‘Oz’, the Sumatran tiger that mauled a woman to death will not be put down.  Oz’s victim Samantha Lynda Kudeweh, 43, was a beloved member of the Hamilton zoo team and had been a zoo keeper for over 20 years.
In a statement released by the Hamilton Zoo, it was said that 11-year-old tiger Oz will not be euthanised. As they assured the public and zoo supporters that they have no reason to put him down. They recognise that there is an inherent risk for zoo professionals to manage big cats like Oz, hence they have no logical reason to put him down.
In a statement released a short time ago, Kudeweh’s family thanked the public and the global zoo community for their messages of support over the past couple of days.

Japan beat South Africa at World Cup

Screenshot 2015-09-24 at 1.16.28 PM.pngOh no the Japan beat south africa. I wonder how the All Blacks go a gest the Japan.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Japan has caused the biggest upset in Rugby World Cup history by beating two time winners South Africa, 34-32 in their opening Pool B match.
Former Otago and Napier Boys High winger, Karne Hesketh, scored in the 84th minute to snatch victory for Japan in a pulsating contest.
The Springboks outscored Japan four tries to three, but the kicking of fullback Ayumu Goromaru kept Japan in the contest.
“We’ve worked for this for the last four years,” victorious captain New Zealander Michael Leitch said immediately after the game.
Impressive tacking from Japan kept them within two points of the Springboks at half-time. In the second half both sides exchanged penalties before Springboks scored a try to replacement front rower Adriaan Strauss.
But Japan never gave up and found space out wide, sending Goromaru in at the corner. A final penalty to South Africa was their last scoring play before Japan applied huge pressure in the final 10 minutes, which ultimately resulted in the final try in the 84th minute.
Earlier this morning Georgia recorded just their third Rugby World Cup win with a 17-10 upset over Tonga in their Pool C opener in Gloucester before Six Nations champions Ireland trounced Canada 50-7 in Cardiff.

How does a digger work

Screenshot 2015-09-24 at 12.45.45 PM.png
How does a digger work.
A digger is a  very powerful machine  that helps pick up stuff and knock them down. There is other parts on  diggers. The parts on diggers are very strong such as the arm, the cab and the track/wheels.
The Arm
The arm on a digger is a  very strong arm. IT can pick stuff up that other things can’t,  for example buildings, cars. cages and other stuff.
the cab
The cab on  diggers help the people protect them  so  they don’t get hurt. They are for keeping the drivers from the rain and if anything falls down on them.

The tracks
The tracks on a diggers are very heavy. If they went  on concrete they will crush it because they are way to heavy to go on to the concrete.

Two Tauranga brothers have become internet celebrities after their mother filmed them attempting to ride their pet sheep.
Sally Phillip Steiner filmed her son's, 3 year old Oliver and 7 year old James, as they played with their sheep Dotty and Sinead. She then shared the funny video with a few friends and posted it on the family’s Facebook page and YouTube.
After receiving more than 3 million views an American news site wrote about the video which led to a lot more publicity. The video has been viewed millions of times on Facebook, YouTube and similar media sites.
The sheep don’t seem to cooperate with the brothers’ antics but it sure looks like fun!

Bolt fastest man in the world

This interested me because I really like running and it is really interesting to watch on TV I believe they can run that fast they must practice every day and some of the night.                                                                   Olympic champion Usain Bolt has confirmed that he is the fastest man on the planet by winning the 100m at the World Athletics Championships.
The Jamaican won the 100 by 0.01 from American sprinter Justin Gatlin.
The Jamaican had struggled for form and fitness all season, however, in the final he surged past the in-form American over the last 30 metres and crossed the line in 9.79 seconds, his fastest run of the year.
“I came out here, relaxed, no stress and brought it home. My aim is to be number one until I retire and therefore I am pushing myself and pushing myself,” said the 29-year-old after striking his trademark “Lightning Bolt” pose.
Gatlin finished second in 9.80 to take silver as he did at the world championships in Moscow two years ago, while young guns Andre de Grasse of Canada and American Trayvon Bromell finished together in third place in a time of 9.92.
Bolt, the reigning Olympic champion and world record holder, has now not been beaten in the 100m or 200m in six major global championships going back to 2007.

Jacob And Me the shadow cross country.

Before. Before the Cross country I could smell the wet grass.
I felt Jacob’s heart pounding!!! in his chest, I felt nervous and I heard lots of nervous talking from others around me.  I felt like I might be sick.
Tasted  I could taste the cool wind as it blew gently on my face. My mouth was dribbling nervously.
During.   I could hear people panting loudly, I could see their warm breath on the frosty air. I could see myself moving along the cold frosty grass.
I felt myself panting, chasing people in front, and watching those chasing Jacob from behind.  I was worried people were going to pass Jacob.
It tasted like my lungs were exploding into my throat, it tasted like pwuck was going to come out of my mouth from all of that bouncing up and down.
Jacob’s arms were pumping hard.
I was proud of Jacob
After, After the race I felt exhausted.  I felt myself dragging across the finish line. I could see people lying on the ground.  I felt glad and pleased with myself.  I could see other people sprinting across the finish line.  I could hear people saying great job Jacob, and I was thinking, what about me?

where did the bottles travel, where did they come from.

what  was in the bottles, what happened to the nave soldier.

how did the bottle  stay afloat.

who wrote the message in the bottle.

Don’t you get sick and tired of going to Hamilton to get fast foods.

Firstly if
fast food places were all in Morrinsville it would save time for traveling.

My second reason to you is because it saves petrol. Less time to do other stuff like going places like to go on holidays

My third reason is it takes so long to drive to hamilton and it would only take three or four minutes to get to morrinsville, if we had fast food places in morrinsville and it takes thirty two kilometers to get t o hamilton and that's why we need a base in morrinsville By Jacob Keating, morrinsville.

My holidays were too short.
Were the holidays too short, to long, or just right.

Firstly, Well mine were too short because I had  not enough time to go on holidays. I strongly believe  you waste time traveling, not enough time to do other stuff and you sometimes get a Jet lag.

Secondly Not that much time with family and friends, family cousins and grandparents. My mom only lets one friend at a time at my house.

Lastly Not enough time to finish our jobs like spending all day doing the jobs not enough time to do other stuff and quickly don’t waste time cleaning.

That’s why I strongly disagree that the holidays weren't  too long, just right but too short!.          By Jacob Keating

In term one there was something coming up called J-rock.   It sounded cool.  There were some notices coming out so I got one. It told us all about J-rock. It was about world war one and the people who went to war and fought for our country. Later on the next day they asked what you wanted to be. I picked  to be a soldier.

We practised for a term and we practised in lines it was hard. When we started to try on our costumes there were nine gold buttons on the soldiers suite. It was itchy.
